Protection of personal data

Personal information is not collected without your knowledge, but is provided voluntarily by you. Personal information is not passed on to third parties. As a customer of ATLANTIC HOTEL, we may at various times ask you for information about yourself and/or members of your family, such as :

– your credit card number (for transaction and reservation purposes): your membership number in the ATLANTIC HOTEL loyalty programme or another partner programme;

– your preferences and interests (e.g. smoking or non-smoking room, preferred floor, type of bedding, type of newspapers read, sports, cultural interests, etc.);
– your questions/comments, during or following a stay in one of our establishments.

The collection of information on persons under the age of 18 is limited to their name, nationality and date of birth, which can only be provided by an adult. Please ensure that your children do not send us any personal data without your permission (particularly via the Internet). In the event of such transmission, you can contact us at one of the addresses indicated in paragraph 7 so that this information can be deleted.

We voluntarily do not collect sensitive information, such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health details or sexual orientation. In addition, depending on the applicable local laws, other information may be considered sensitive, in particular: your credit card number, your hobbies, your personal activities and hobbies, whether or not you smoke, etc…. We may need to collect this information in order to satisfy your requests or provide you with the appropriate service, such as a specific diet, for example. In this case, depending on the laws in force in certain countries, your prior consent may be required for the collection of sensitive information.

* Transmission of information from third parties: tour operators, travel agencies, GDS reservation systems, others, etc;
* Internet activities: Connection to the L’ATLANTIC HÔTEL site (IP address, cookies);
* Online collection forms (online reservations, questionnaires, establishment pages on social networks, connection devices such as Facebook Login, etc.).


We collect your personal data in order to:
1. Fulfil our obligations to our customers.
2. Manage the booking of accommodation requests:
* Drawing up and keeping legal documents in accordance with accounting standards;
3. Manage your stay:
* Monitor your consumption (telephone, bar, etc.)
* Manage access to accommodation
* Internal management of the list of customers who have behaved inappropriately during their stay (aggression and incivilities, failure to comply with the hotel contract, failure to comply with security rules, theft, damage and vandalism or payment incidents).
4. To improve our service, in particular:
* To process your personal data in our customer marketing programme, in order to carry out marketing and brand promotion operations and to gain a better understanding of your needs and wishes;

5. Managing our relationship with our customers before, during and after your stay:
* Managing the loyalty programme;
* Qualification of the customer database;
* Segmentation operations based on customers’ booking history and travel habits with a view to sending targeted communications;
* Forecasting and anticipating future behaviour;
* Establish statistics and commercial scores, and carry out reporting;
* Provide contextual data to the offer push tool when a customer visits the website or makes a booking;
* To find out about and manage the preferences of customers, whether loyal or not;
* To send you newsletters, promotions and offers for tourism or services, or offers from ATLANTIC HÔTEL’s partners, or to contact you by telephone;
* To manage requests to unsubscribe from newsletters, promotions, tourist offers and satisfaction surveys;
* To take into account your right to object;
* To use a dedicated telephone service to locate persons present in ATLANTIC HÔTEL in the event of serious events affecting the site concerned (natural disasters, terrorist attacks, etc.);

* To enable you to benefit from the advantages of our loyalty programme.

We must share your personal data with internal and external recipients under the following conditions:

a. Within ATLANTIC HOTEL: In order to provide you with the best possible service, we may share your personal data and give access to authorised personnel of our entities, in particular:
– Reservation personnel using ATLANTIC HOTEL reservation tools;
– IT services;
– Business partners and marketing departments;

– External service providers: IT sub-contractors, international call centres, banks, credit card issuers, external lawyers, routers, printers.

– Commercial partners: ATLANTIC HÔTEL may, unless you object, enhance your profile by sharing certain information about you with its commercial partners. In this case, cross-checks, analyses and combinations via a trusted third party of your data may be carried out. This processing will enable ATLANTIC HOTEL and its privileged contractual partners to determine your centres of interest, your customer profile and to enable us to send you personalised offers.

c. Local authorities: we may also transmit your information to local authorities, if this is required by law or within the framework of an investigation and in accordance with local regulations.


ATLANTIC HÔTEL takes appropriate technical and organisational measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to protect your personal data against unlawful or accidental destruction, accidental loss or alteration, or unauthorised disclosure or access. To this end, we have put in place technical measures (such as firewalls) and organisational measures (such as an identifier/password system, means of physical protection, etc.). When you transmit your credit card details when making your reservation, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology is used to ensure the security of your transactions.
